Short Life Brings Two Classic Genres Together…Brutally

The world wasn’t quite sure what to do with ragdoll physics when it first debuted in such garagmes as Jurassic Park: Trespasser in 1998, but this Short Life Online game has really capitalized on the hilarious ragdoll mechanic. Even better, they’ve turned your classic ragdoll game into a platformer with levels and obstacles and everything! That’s right, you’re not just flailing around in space – you’re flailing around with a purpose. We love this game because it takes a battle-tested genre that dates back as early as the 70s (platformers) and gives it a funny twist. Who says ragdoll animations are just for death sequences? With this Gametornado title, you can lose control whenever you want.

How to Play Short Life

As we said, short life brings you the whacky movement mechanics of ragdoll physics in a platformer. Your job is to drag your character through hazard-filled levels, doing whatever you need to make it to the end. It's a lot like the cult classic Happy Wheels game, but without, you know, the wheels. Crouch under cannon fire, jump over spinning saw blades, and watch out for falling objects. You might even run into a few explosive surprises! Whatever you do, just keep clear of all these fun little quirks, because if one of them so much as nicks you, you just might lose an arm! Even worse, we just got cut in half on our last run. Anyway, try to make it through each level, and grab those stars while you’re at it!
